South Beach is the largest of the two beaches in Bridlington. It gives everything that a quintessential British seaside holiday offers and more!

The beach itself is vast and sandy and is backed by an accessible promenade with cafes and Bridlington Spa.

You can walk down South Beach all the way to Fraisthorpe on a good day, which can be quieter than the areas located by the harbour.

This is an excellent location for families, with good facilities and splash areas for kids, and you can rent the chalets to create an ideal base for your Bridlington YC experience.

If you want a mix of beach and sea-based experiences, you can hop on the pirate ship or speedboat or join one of the cruises to take in the views of the chalk cliffs at Flamborough. If you are lucky, you might even get to see porpoises dancing in the surf.
