Littlebeck Wood Nature Reserve

Welcome to Littlebeck Woods, a 26-hectare stretch of lush, wild space located in the heart of North Yorkshire.

From Oak, Ash, Cherry, and Alder trees, to chirping birds and a variety of wildlife, there is so much to explore. Come for a stroll along our clearly marked walking trails, designed for all skill levels, with special consideration to our steeper and uneven sections.

Park at the nearby village hall with free entry, and let Littlebeck Woods become your world for the day.

The area has been managed by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust since 1986, so come and experience the allure of Littlebeck Woods.

This beautiful woodland area hosts Oak, Ash, Cherry and Alder, which embraces numerous bird and wildlife species and a natural fauna dotted along clearly marked walking trails.

Spread over 26 hectares, free entry, with parking available at the nearby Littlebeck Village Hall.

A beautiful stroll through the woods can be challenging for some. Many areas are steep and uneven, which should be considered before embarking on the trails.

The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust has managed the Area since 1986.
