Quayside has been owned and managed by the Fusco family since 1999, but the family has been serving up fish and chips since the 1960s and are now in its third generation of fish fryers.

The Quayside building has a rich history as one of the oldest buildings on the quayside, which was once home to the town library and bath house.

It was in the town library where it is reported that Bram Stoker made his research notes on his novel "Dracula".

Today, Quayside is a multi-award-winning fish and chip restaurant and takeaway, winning the coveted Fish and Chip Shop of the Year in 2014. Inside you'll be greeted with modern but cosy decor and stunning panoramic sea views from the first floor, outstanding service, the finest fish and chips, delicious coastal food, and an extensive drinks menu.
