Whitby Museum is unusual and quite wonderful! Revealing the life of our historic coastal town from the Jurassic era to the present day, our collections are fascinating – even quirky.

The collections have been gathered for over 200 years and include local history, photography, maritime heritage, social history, fine art, natural history, geology & fossils, jet & jet Jewellery, costume & textiles.
