Markus Stitz
Route designer, filmmaker, photographer, writer and Bikepacking Scotland founder Markus Stitz has designed and cycled all brand-new Route YC cycling itineraries. His passion for biking has seen him cycle 34,000 kilometres unsupported around the world on a single-speed mountain bike. He has also completed numerous other long-distance trails, including an alternative version of the popular North Coast 500.
Mark Beaumont
Mark Beaumont is one of the most respected ultra-endurance athletes on the planet. His adventures have taken him to over 100 countries; he holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest circumnavigation of the world by bike. Based in Edinburgh, he has worked with Markus on a number of joint projects like ‘Explore Your Boundaries’.
Jenny Graham
Also a record holder for circumnavigation of the world by bike, Jenny Graham smashed the existing women’s record by three weeks, finishing in 124 days, 11 hours. She completed the 18,000 mile-ride with no support crew. In addition to being a Guinness World Record holder, Jenny is an adventurer, presenter, public speaker, author and self-confessed endurance-loving, earth-hugging, fist-pumping ‘dirtbag’.
