This lovely ride follows National Cycle route one between these two Yorkshire-based coastal towns.
You start near the tourist information centre in the attractive holiday resort of Scarborough and head south along the coast to Osgodby. You continue south on quiet country roads crossing the River Hertford near Folkton and passing through Hunmanby and Bempton.
The ride finishes passing Grade 1 listed Sewerby Hall and gardens before a pleasant stretch along the Bridlington seafront brings you to the tourist information centre. The GPX trace on this route is for use as a guide only; its accuracy may change depending on the scale of the map you are using. Use in combination with judgement and a paper map.
