Flamborough's North Landing beach must be one of the most photographed in the area with white sand, pebbles, and clear turquoise sea; it's not hard to see why this cove is called paradise.
Surrounded by bright white chalk cliffs and grassy hills, there are plenty of places for a photo op. As you explore the cliffs - watch out for the 'Drinking Dinosaur' attraction - a stunning rock formation that's a must-see in Flamborough.

A quick hop from Flamborough is where you will find one of the country's top wildlife reserves at RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Home to nesting Puffins, Razorbills and Kittiwakes, to name a few.
Expect to glimpse a diverse mix of wildlife and enjoy nature trails around the meadows and gardens.
The clifftop paths are stunning no matter the season; when the weather is rough, the views of huge waves crashing against the cliff faces are exhilarating and well worth it.
If you want a gentle walk, the 7-mile Flamborough Circular will take you around all of the key spots to visit, including the lighthouse and both bays.

For those with a taste for vintage, take a stroll and follow the historic Old Town Trail.
A popular set location for film and television and famously provided the setting for the 2016 Universal Pictures release of Dad's Army, the Old Town high street is lined with traditional shops, cafes and restaurants that are wonderfully nostalgic.
The Old Town Gallery and Information Point is a friendly place to pop in and learn some cool facts about this quaint quarter of Bridlington.

For a truly memorable experience, head to Grindale, a small village North of Bridlington, the home of SkyDive GB, Yorkshire's only skydiving centre.

A bracing walk along the clifftop is just the tonic, and the Danes Dyke Beach to Danes Dyke Circular Walk is a perfect morning route.
At roughly 5 kilometres, it's a great length and perfect to bring dogs or cycle to. This relatively flat route must offer superb views across the bay of Bridlington and access to quiet, unspoilt beaches.
A great 7-mile walking route is the Bempton Circular, which will take you along a breathtaking clifftop with spectacular scenery.

If you've brought your four-legged friend, we recommend walking from Bridlington's South Bay Beach to Fraisthorpe.
The tide stretches out, giving miles of sand for your dog to play, and depending on the time of year, you'll see everything from kite surfers to horse riders.
The walk is around three miles, end to end, but check the tides before you set off to ensure you don't get cut off.
